Owned by the passionate Rossi Cairo family who have overseen a conversion to organic and biodynamic certified production. Grapes are handpicked and fermented for approximately 20 days. The Cortese grapes are handpicked and fermented in stainless steel tank before being aged on its lees for three months. giving fantastic concentration, richness, and mouth-watering freshness. Bright orchard fruits, runny honey and candied citrus fruits merge with subtle notes of almond. Lively, balanced and ever so drinkable especially paired with fresh fish or roasted vegetable dishes!
This winery was founded in the 1950s and sold wine in bulk to local wine merchants. When the Descombes took over, in 2017, everything changed. They switched its sights to quality, not quantity – focusing on the environmental conservation of their coveted Burgundy plots. They've even gone as far to plant hedges and trees and use natural fertilisers in the vineyards. This is their Petit Chablis, and it has all the classic flavours you'd expect: lemon and grapefruit, and a textbook lick of minerality.

Fantastic wine from Couronneau. Merlot-dominated, this Bordeaux has been made with ‘easy-drinking’ very much in mind. They’d probably kill us for saying so, but it’s got some of that New World ripeness that makes wines from countries like Chile so popular. Ripe, soft Merlot fruits dominate.
A very attractive, clear, pink colour with an aroma of raspberries and roses. Fresh with good acidity and silky in the mouth.

View: impious and brilliant, with a high middle layer with red edges and abundant tears.
Nose: medium-high intensity with aromas of red and black fruits.
Mouth: with a large volume passage through the mouth where the fruit is appreciated, fresh and with great structure.
Young cabernet but elegant and easy to drink, soft tannins, blackberry fruit with hint of
tobacco and spice. Great with Beef and vegetarian dishes.
Garnet red colour. Berries on the nose delivering flavours of dark fruits and chocolate, with a touch of vanilla on the ending.

Nose: great aromatic intensity. Memories of tropical fruit (passion fruit) and freshly cut grass.
Palate: maintains the varietal character, clean and fresh with lots of fruit. Round and structured.
This must be our favourite new label! Rebo (see the number plate) is the local indigenous grape variety, and delivers bags of character in this nicely oaked, complex red that shows deep blackberry fruits and more. * colour of car on label varies
Chateau Couronneau Bordeaux Superieur is aged in large, old oak barrels to give a subtle vanilla and cream flavour. Crammed full of blackberry and damson with a nuance of florality towards the finale. Sumptuous fruit with enough freshness to ensure balance.

No Added Sulphur wines are certainly in vogue at present and this “Rioja” grape excels in the hot arid central plains of La Mancha. It is ripe, black fruit forward and juicy with soft tannins and a fine clean finish.
