Roasted Squash

Your favourite squash Olive oil: Toss the squash with olive oil before roasting to keep it nice and moist. Seasonings: flavour with fresh garlic, salt, and pepper.
Method

STEP 1

Peel and cube the squash.

STEP 2

Season: Toss the butternut squash cubes with olive oil, garlic (or choice of seasoning below), salt, and pepper.

STEP 3

Roast the seasoned cubes on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven (200°c/Gas Mark 6/400°F) until the squash is lightly browned and tender - this will usually be about 25 - 25 minutes depending on the selected squash.

Alternative Seasonings - instead of garlic this recipe will work with any of the following

· Rosemary
· Thyme
· Sage
· Cinnamon
· Paprika
· Honey
· Maple syrup
· Cumin
